Found a fun activity on the web from the author of the BEAM book. https://readthechain.com/decode/ It's about code cracking a very small set of codes, with hints provided. Did not use LLMs to write the code to decode the cipher text, but did use it to find the correct flags for CLI tools like base64, and the syntax to convert a number string to hex back to base 10 etc. It was a fun activity.
