Today I was curiously went to office to find the reason of the bug that i noticed yesterday.
Unfortunately I can't found the reason because I got another prioritized task had been assigned.
Anyone felt this?
If you get any disappointment or feeling of betrayal on morning, does it affect your whole day? But still you pushed yourself to do the work
Stuck
I added a navigation to our web app for a payment flow, in IOS it's working fine, but in Android release built, instead of opening link, app navigates to specific screen.
End of the Day i find this out, curious to debug this tomorrow 🙃

What's your thoughts on this guys? Please share your facts/thoughts
In our organization we have claude code review on each Merge Request.
It usually provide 10 to 15 issues and same number of suggestion.
One of the issue it provides for my code review was very odd.
It says on this scenario this will happen, but you handled that, again on this also this will happen, that scenario also handled. So this is fine.
I was like 👀...... What happened to you bro....
I think it was forced to provide some specific number of issues and suggestions. Because of that, even there is no issues or few issues, it's providing unnecessary content.

Today I did testing on my own after the completion of new notification flow.
Found some bugs and fixed.
Again tested.
Monday, testing will do another complete test... 🙃eagerly waiting for the results.

Yesterday in my organization we stuck on a issue that we thought the notification only comes after 6pm, so we check the onesignal which we use for notification.
We found that, the same notification has been sent multiple times and each time different number of users.
The notification is for a reminder before a hour, there is a delay happened sometimes while fetching the user, that delay caused the issue. Because of the delay the timing missed and then notification didn't get triggered.
Temporarily we added 1000 users in a single queue to send notification. It worked for now, the backend team is working on that for a better solution.
Stuck
Something interesting happened today: a specific notification stopped working until 6 PM, and then started working fine afterward. I collaborated with the backend team to investigate, but we haven't found the cause yet. I hope we find a solution tomorrow.

While working on our app's notification feature, I received a notification from the Instamart app. I followed the link, and it felt incredibly fast, opening the required screen immediately. This inspired me to implement a similar feature in our app.
I understand that when a notification is clicked, the app prioritizes that specific flow instead of initializing the home screen first. It navigates directly to the relevant screen, handling authentication and validation in the background. Once the user presses the back button, the app then initializes the regular home section.
Why I choose this method?
I chose this method because our existing notification flow felt sluggish. After looking for ways to improve, I found the Instamart flow to be fast, smooth, and simple, so I decided to adopt that pattern.

Today I've done few enhancements in video screen comment section, previously when comment field got focus, the widgets behind that were non accessible. I found it was difficult if a user trying to tag any previous comment after they typed the comment.
Now they can easily access anything on screen, while the comment they typed drafted on the comment field.
Built
I built a backend for exam portals monitoring system using Flask and SQLite DB

When I'm using my organisation app , i felt like stuck on video section. When a video ends, the only option it shows is replay icon.
It felt like," what I do next👀?"
Then I remembered the Youtube experience. If a video ends, Youtube shows next related video thumbnail on screen with play and cancel button. It'll make us watch next video and not felt like stuck somewhere.
I added the feature in our app. Now user can view next related video continuously. It felt good for me in user point of view.
Monday I need to discuss with our TL for approval.

Today it went so quiet. Integrated few APIS. Worked with backend developers and support them for the API they have been creating for the mobile app. Found few bugs on the response, had discussion about that.
Tomorrow we'll have discussion with TL about that.

After a long stressful sprint,
Last 2 days doing peaceful development, thinking about enhancing existing features and trying new features.... Highly satisfied working day.
1. Added link preview in our app's chat section.
2. Added comments Textfield expansion for long paragraphs inspired by WhatsApp.
Also created small web page for exam updates monitoring system

Today, I discovered that our app's comment section was over-engineered. Since there were no urgent tasks in this sprint, I began an app checkup to address minor flaws and UI/UX improvements.
1. I identified code duplication of the comment field in three places and refactored it into a single widget.
2. In the media section, tapping the comment text field previously opened a bottom sheet containing a list of comments and another input field. This was unnecessary, so after discussing it with the Team Lead, I removed the bottom sheet. Now, users can view and post comments directly. This change reduced the code size and eliminated unnecessary complexity.
Learned
I learned To test the centralized network handler in my company i used a tool called Proxyman. It was really helpful to stimulate API delay scenario.
First we download certificate from that to allow to access API calls, then we can easily connect with our emulator or real device,
Then we can choose a API and add a delay(we can add in both request and response) after that we can easily check how the new system work under API delay. from Internet

In my organization app, API delay was wrongly assumed as slow network and showed slow network snackbar, I fixed that. Now if API delayed it will show, please wait it's taking time than usual. It will helps to avoid false message reaching to users.

Yesterday, when I tried to fetch data from RRB, SSC and TNPSC, failed fetching in TNPSC.
Today Built and tested a working prototype monitoring 6 govt exam boards (SSC, RRB, TNPSC, UPSC, IBPS, NTA) for date changes, admit cards, and eligibility correction, running as a Cowork scheduled task.
Most sites fetch directly; TNPSC and UPSC block plain automated requests (a User-Agent header check). Currently using a paid scraping service (Nimble) to actually fetch those two in the live task.
Separately, proved via a manual live test in Chrome that just sending a normal browser User-Agent label (no Nimble) gets the same full content and confirmed the fix works, but haven't automated it yet.
Planning to use GitHub Actions to replace Nimble with header trick.
Built
I built a bot and tried to fetch data from 3 websites...RRB, SSC and TNPSC to know how we can retrieve data. ✅ RRB and SSC data fetched successfully, as RRB sends as plain text/HTML and for SSC we can get from internal API. ❌Failed fetching from TNPSC. Doing a analysis why it failed. Why I did this? Before building a monitoring system, I like to know from each website how we can fetch it's details as a initial step.
Built
I built a centralized network handler system for our organization's mobile application, that replaced a existing system which was a common class that getting called on each api function separately. To overcome duplication and the need of scalable system, I built a system that handles network related services for entire app.

In my company, we have Claude review in merge request in Git lab, it usually give suggestions and figure out some issues,
Today I experienced a hallucination effect from Claude.
Example:
Its suggested like you have usermodel.toMap but there is no fromMap to receive.
But I have usermodel, but don't have usermodel.toMap.
It created a confusion. And it indicates always a manually review also important and Ai can't be 💯 accurate.

I did a analysis of 6 exam announcement portal, Tnpsc, NTA, UPSC ...etc
I found a common pattern, they all have Announcement board or notice board.
And another pattern, they're posting PDF in multiple occasions.
Quiet day
Learning and finding out new things in PROOF than any other platform I'm using, happy to see others learning journey.
Quiet day
Learned new thing about depreciated model from Panditharan log which I never heard about
Built
I built a feature in my organisation application....when user download any document in Android app, it will show device on notification section and if they click, it will open the document. In IOS we can't do the same , so when user click the application it'll open the bottom sheet where user can select the location to save. For Android feature I've used flutter_downloader, and for IOS I used file_picker.Why i built this feature?Whenever user download any document, it'll storage in some location it was bit deficult to find. As a user I experienced this in many Application. So I'm trying different solutions, Then i felt, the Google drive's feature of downloading document flow was easy to view the document. So I implemented that in our app also.At the end it feels like...we don't have to reinvent the wheel always ♥️

I was thinking about this for almost 2 weeks.
In a company, the CEO or Leaders behaviour will mostly reflect upto the bottom end(tech team).
Today in a meet with CEO,Team lead and full stack developer and Tester....team lead scold the developer and Tester.... because of situation that caused production feature to get rollback.
Team lead called the tester privately, spoke in a convincing and soft manner, there we can understand who is providing pressure.
My 2 weeks of thinking came to an end.
CEO always say time to market is important. Everyone can understand that. But the system never changed. We talked the flaws directly to CEO but still.... system remains same.
Key issues: only one Tester handling all mobile and web feature testing, always not providing proper time to develop, each and every release , we're always in a hurry...late night work.
Everyone knows this....but.... always a same story.
Thinking
I'm thinking about new app because I got a idea from the event I've attended on last Saturday.Planning to prepare a new PRD for the new App.

Thinking about yesterday event. Met lot of people who are eager to build and learn.
The event changed my mind on the problem that I'm trying to solve. And it gave me some new way of thinking and new ideas.
Feeling grateful that I joined ZME -> PROOF earlier that provides the opportunity to attend this event.
